Pastors Lloyd and Malinda are blessed to serve as ministers of the gospel. They both have a love for Jesus and a passion for sharing His love and His name with others. Lloyd is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador University. He has also received additional education and training from the Billy Graham School of Evangelism, Life Innovations, Inc., Family Life and the National Stewardship Association.
Lloyd and Malinda were called to the ministry shortly after their marriage in 1983 in Pasadena, California. In February 1984 Lloyd was ordained an elder and they both served in the Imperial AM congregation of the Worldwide Church of God. In June of 1986 they were transferred to New York to serve as Associate Pastor of the Brooklyn South and Queens churches. It was during their time in New York that they came to a deeper understanding of what pastoral service and sacrifice was all about. After only two years in New York they were transferred to Baltimore, Maryland where Lloyd served for five years as the Associate Pastor. In 1993 Lloyd and Malinda were called to pastor Faith Outreach Community Church (formerly Washington, DC North). In addition to serving the congregation as the First Lady, Malinda is also actively involved in Women’s Ministry.
During their time at Faith Outreach, both Lloyd and Malinda along with the congregation have undergone a wonderful transformation in their love for the Lord. Jesus has become without a doubt, the center of our joy. Both have been able to share their testimony with churches, conferences, shelters and individuals. Lloyd and Malinda have one daughter named Amanda. Lloyd enjoys fishing and reading. Malinda enjoys cooking, reading and gardening.
